Greg Mankiw on universal basic income

Here he makes the same point that I have (here, for example). But no, he didn't get it from me - the point is well-known to people who think about it carefully.

Daniel Shaviro: New York, New York, United States; I am the Wayne Perry Professor of Taxation at New York University Law School. My research mainly emphasizes tax policy, government transfers, budgetary measures, social insurance, and entitlements reform.
